Books and other projects
NONFICTION AND FICTION
Over the past thirty years, I have copyedited hundreds of books on a wide range of topics. Titles include Devra Davis's National Book Award nominee When Smoke Ran Like Water; the best-seller Conscious Capitalism, by John Mackey, founder of Whole Foods Market; Peter Hoffman's Life's Ratchet ("Best Books of 2012" by Physics World); and Sheryll Cashin's timely Loving: Interracial Intimacy in America and the Threat to White Supremacy (Kirkus Reviews: “A concise, powerful reflection on the 50th anniversary of the landmark case”).

TECHNICAL EDITING
I have also edited and conducted quality control on numerous internal technical reports in the fields of analgesic research and antibiotic development. A set of fresh, careful eyes is invaluable to any technical report, especially when the authors have been working on a project for a long time. Among several published papers I have copyedited are a study on osteoarthritis and a major analysis of the effects of air pollution on pregnant women.
